PepsiCo’s flavoured sparkling water brand bubly has launched three limited-edition flavours, linked to the upcoming release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

The new variants include Meteor Melon (watermelon-lime), Cosmic Swirl (vanilla and berry), and Dragonfruit Stardust (pineapple-dragonfruit).

Alongside the new products, existing bubly flavours – including Lime, Blackberry, Cherry, Grapefruit, and Strawberry – are being repackaged in special-edition multipacks.

The multipacks feature characters from the film such as Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Bowser Jr.

The packs are being distributed across retail outlets nationwide.

The launch has been developed in partnership with Illumination and Nintendo and is scheduled ahead of the film’s theatrical debut on 1 April 2026.

It forms part of a wider promotional collaboration associated with the release.

A separate cinema promotion at selected Regal and Marcus Theatres venues provides an additional opportunity for entries submitted by 16 April 2026 to win the grand prize.

bubly Sparkling Water marketing vice president Michael Smith said: “Super Mario is one of the most timeless and beloved franchises in entertainment, inspiring a sense of adventure and exploration for fans of every generation.

“With our new colour-changing cans, limited edition flavours, film-themed packs, Star Bits collection, and hidden bubly Galaxy Cans featuring Rosalina, we’re thrilled to bring the magic of this universe into the grocery aisle and be part of fans’ excitement leading up to the film.”

Separately, PepsiCo last week introduced two chilled, ready-to-heat vegetable soups in Spain under its Alvalle brand, marking the brand’s move into the hot soup category.

The range comprises Vegetable Cream, made with courgette, carrot, potato and onion, and Pumpkin Cream, containing pumpkin, carrot, onion and sweet potato.

Manufactured in Murcia using vegetables sourced in Spain, the soups include olive oil and salt and contain no additives or gluten.
