Brightseed has launched Bio Gut Core, a bioactive ingredient designed to improve gut health by strengthening the gut barrier and reducing bloating and abdominal pain.
The product, developed using Brightseed’s Forager AI platform, has shown effectiveness in just three weeks, with some users experiencing benefits within one week.
Bio Gut Core combines two bioactives, N-trans caffeoyltyramine (NCT) and N-trans feruloyltyramine (NFT), in a ready-to-use formulation.
These bioactives have been clinically proven to improve gut barrier function and alleviate symptoms similar to irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and exercise-induced permeability.

Brightseed developed the Bio Gut Core supplement using its Forager AI platform, which identified NCT and NFT in natural plant sources like garlic and black pepper.
The compounds activate hepatic nuclear factor alpha (HNF4⍺), a transcription factor crucial for maintaining gut barrier integrity.
A double-blinded, randomised, placebo-controlled trial conducted by Brightseed showed that the use of Bio Gut Core resulted in significant improvements in gut barrier function.
Also, the supplement helped in reducing abdominal discomfort after three weeks.
The study’s findings are expected to be published in a peer-reviewed journal later this year.
