German chemicals and ingredients distributor Brenntag has expanded its partnership with Givaudan to cover Malaysia and Singapore.
The new deal builds on an earlier arrangement in Thailand.
Under the revised agreement, Brenntag will supply the Swiss flavours and fragrances group’s cosmetic actives and premium speciality ingredients for beauty and personal care products in the two additional markets.
The step broadens the collaboration’s footprint in Southeast Asia and gives a wider pool of customers access to the portfolio.
Brenntag Specialties Asia Pacific beauty & care regional president Wissanee Ruangsorn said: “We are pleased to extend our collaboration with Givaudan to both Malaysia and Singapore.
“This expansion enables us to serve more customers with an innovative and trusted portfolio of active ingredients. Through our technical capabilities and formulation expertise, we help customers accelerate development and respond to evolving consumer expectations.”
Brenntag said it will work with local manufacturers in both countries as demand grows for formulations focused on quality, effectiveness and sustainability.
Customers are expected to receive technical and development assistance through the company’s regional Innovation and Application Centres, which provide formulation expertise and market insight.
Givaudan Active Beauty Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania sales regional head Bonwook Koo added: “Following our strong collaboration in Thailand, we are delighted to work with Brenntag in Malaysia and Singapore, where their clear strategy and technical capabilities make them an ideal partner.
“Together, we can ensure our active ingredients reach a wider range of customers and support the development of high-quality beauty and personal care products for this growing market.”
The expansion follows another partnership extension announced in May 2025, when Arla Foods Ingredients and Brenntag Group widened their cooperation.
That deal allowed Brenntag to distribute Arla’s protein ingredients across Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia.
It covers applications in health foods, infant and sports nutrition, as well as functional solutions for dairy and bakery products.
Givaudan has also been pursuing growth through acquisitions. In December, it completed the purchase of US fragrance specialist Belle Aire Creations.
According to the company, the transaction broadened its reach among local and regional customers in North America and support its 2030 strategy focused on closer collaboration with regional brands and stronger creative capabilities in key markets.
