US-based plant-based meat producer Beyond Meat has broadened its Beyond Immerse sparkling protein drink portfolio with four additional flavours, citing strong early consumer response to the line.
The new variants – Cherry Berry, Strawberry Lemonade, Piña Colada and Cucumber Grapefruit – expand on the company’s first beverage launch.
They join the existing Peach Mango, Lemon Lime and Orange Tangerine options.
Each flavour will be available in two formulations: one providing 10g of protein, 7g of fibre and 60 calories, and another delivering 20g of protein, 7g of fibre and 100 calories.
The drinks are made with plant-based components such as pea protein and fibre derived from tapioca, and are produced without genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or sugar alcohols.
According to the press statement, they also contain vitamin C and added electrolytes.
Beyond Meat said protein supports muscle health, while the 7g fibre per serving contributes to gut health and vitamin C supports immune function.
The company introduced Beyond Immerse, a ready-to-drink plant-based protein beverage, last month.
The launch marked its entry into functional beverages, extending its plant-based portfolio beyond meat alternatives.
Beyond Meat founder and CEO Ethan Brown said: “Beyond Immerse represents a meaningful next chapter for our brand as we expand beyond centre-of-the-plate protein.
“We challenged ourselves to redefine the protein drink, designing a beverage that immerses the body not only in protein but more broadly in the remarkable power of plants.
“Available in 10g and 20g protein varieties and packed with 7g of fibre, antioxidants, and electrolytes, Beyond Immerse fuels and nourishes the body. We can’t wait for consumers to experience the new flavours for themselves.”
