The Campbell’s Company (Campbell’s) has unveiled fresh additions to its product lineup, featuring new broths under the Swanson and Pacific Foods brands, alongside a drink mix offering.
Swanson has introduced its Ramen Chicken Broth, made from chicken stock, with flavours of garlic, ginger, and soy, while omitting any added monosodium glutamate.
Pacific Foods has rolled out a chicken bone broth, with ginger, turmeric, and black pepper.
The slow-simmered broth is said to be made from USDA Organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free ingredients.
“Broth is more than just a base for soup–it is a staple that brings warmth, nourishment, and flavour to meals throughout every season. With new options from Swanson and Pacific Foods, our broths are here to make every season more delicious,” Campbell’s said in a statement.
In a separate development, Campbell’s V8 Energy launched a drink mix designed for “on-the-go convenience”.
The powdered beverage mix is designed to transform the brand’s vegetable and fruit juices into a portable form, providing 80mg of caffeine per serving, sourced from black and green tea, Campbell’s said.
It added that the creation of the drink mix was a collaborative effort, with the culinary team ensuring that the powdered format preserved the original flavours and nutritional qualities.
The V8 Energy Drink Mix is now available in three flavours: Pomegranate Blueberry, Peach Mango, and Strawberry Lemonade.
V8 senior brand manager Xanna Tracy said: “People know V8 Energy as a delicious pick-me-up in fruit-forward flavours. This opportunity allowed us to innovate beyond what we have done historically.
“What I love about V8 Energy Drink Mix is that we are keeping all the stuff that matters but making it into a more portable format to reach people who are on the go.”
