Batory Foods now manages service and documentation for LMZ, which offers products for both traditional applications, including spray dried, freeze dried, agglomerated, decaffeinated and flavored.
LMZ vice president Ethan Feuer said the company decided to pursue this partnership because of coffee’s increasing popularity in beverage bases and as a food ingredient.
"Batory’s broad sales force, vast product catalog and numerous national distribution points make this partnership ideal for LMZ, creating wider distribution and efficient order flow for coffee and associated products," Feuer added.
Batory Foods Specialty Ingredients senior product manager Bill Weisshaar said this relationship is a win-win, adding value for both LMZ and Batory’s current and new customers.
"Because we now handle LMZ’s LTL orders, the soluble coffee supplier can focus its attention on larger accounts while at the same time relying on our national sales force and distribution network to expand its base of LTL clients," Weisshaar said.
Customers can now work directly with Batory Foods to purchase LMZ’s soluble coffee products as well as products from Batory’s complete line of food ingredients.
"Batory gets us to those customers with greater speed, creating opportunity for clients looking to consolidate their ingredient purchases and delivering a higher level of customer service than we could possibly provide," Feuer said.
