ANJAC Health & Beauty Group has acquired Slovenia-based Health Chain Group (HCG), a European specialist in food supplements.
The deal is expected to add scale to ANJAC’s nutraceutical operations and extends its health and pharma reach across Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America.
HCG operates through three entities: PharmaLinea, Hermes Consilium, and ErgoPharma.
According to the French health and beauty group, the acquired company provides an integrated model from ingredient development to finished product manufacturing.
It offers clinically supported turnkey solutions across areas including iron deficiency, women’s health, and joint and bone health.
HCG serves pharmaceutical laboratories, consumer health companies, and nutraceutical brands in more than 40 markets.
It runs two R&D and manufacturing sites in Slovenia certified to FSSC 22000, GMP Food Supplement, ISO 14001, and FDA standards.
A €25m ($29m) investment programme is underway to expand production capacity at its Velenje site, with output expected to triple by 2026.

The addition of HCG also enhances ANJAC’s custom manufacturing and turnkey product capabilities as a CDMO and broadens its portfolio of proprietary patents and clinical studies.
The ANJAC group comprises 17 companies and more than 3,300 employees.
It is projecting 2025 turnover of nearly €800m, including about €30m contributed by HCG.
