Schuman Cheese and GOOD PLANeT Foods have formed a new a joint venture, GPV Foods, combining their expertise in the plant-based dairy sector.

The collaboration merges Schuman’s Vevan brand with GOOD PLANeT’s retail operations, to address the growing demand for dairy-free cheese.

GOOD PLANeT Foods offers plant-based cheeses, available in top grocery stores across the US.

Founded in 1945 in Fairfield, New Jersey, Schuman Cheese is a family-owned provider of specialty cheese.

The company operates three production facilities in Wisconsin and conversion facilities in Illinois and New Jersey, including a plant dedicated to plant-based dairy.

Through Vevan, Schuman is making significant strides in the plant-based sector, establishing a strong national presence in retail and foodservice.
