Gutzy Organic has launched two new prebiotic plant protein smoothie pouches, in response to the growing demand for on-the-go protein and gut-friendly snacks.
The two new protein smoothie pouches include Tropical Mango and Cherry Berry Acai.
As consumers increasingly seek convenient and nutritious options, these pouches cater to two prominent food and beverage trends projected for 2025.
Each 3.38 fl oz pouch contains seven grams of plant protein and seven to eight grams of fibre, providing a nutrient-rich and calorie-conscious choice for active individuals.
With only one in ten Americans meeting the recommended daily intake of fruits and vegetables and 95% falling short on fibre, Gutzy aims to address the fibre gap.
The Tropical Mango pouch features a blend of bananas, mango, pineapple, guava, and passion fruit, delivering a refreshing tropical taste.
Meanwhile, the Cherry Berry Acai pouch combines dark cherries, blueberries, apples, and açaí for a bold, berry-rich flavour.
Gutzy’s pouches are the only adult snack available in the produce department, positioned on refrigerated shelves near fresh-cut fruit to preserve the potency and freshness.
The nutrient, typically found in supplements, is now being introduced to food by Gutzy.
Both pouches are free from artificial additives, added sugars, and preservatives.
They are gluten-free, dairy-free, and contain fewer than 110 calories per pouch, providing a good source of protein and high fibre content with a creamy texture.
Currently available at Publix, Meijer, HEB, and Stop & Shop, Gutzy Organic plans to expand its plant-based smoothies to more retailers soon.
