Texas-based spirits company High Basin Brands has acquired Can-Tini, a nitrogen-infused espresso martini brand, to enhance its portfolio.

High Basin Brands’ portfolio includes Ghost Hill Organic Vodka and Treaty Oak Distilling.

Can-Tini, known for its coffee-forward flavour with notes of cinnamon and dark chocolate, caters to the growing demand for premium ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails.

The acquisition marks High Basin Brands’ second in the past year, strengthening its strategy to scale premium, culturally relevant beverage brands.

Can-Tini offers a unique blend of taste, convenience, and cultural significance, appealing to consumers who appreciate natural ingredients and a smooth drinking experience.

Can-Tini founder Henry Rathjen said: “From day one, Can-Tini was built to deliver a premium cocktail experience without compromise–something you could enjoy anywhere, anytime, without losing the integrity of a great espresso martini.

“Joining High Basin Brands gives us the resources, reach, and strategic support to scale the brand the right way. I couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter.”

Founded in 2023 by the team behind On The Rocks Cocktails, High Basin Brands is focused on data-driven marketing and consumer-centric strategies.

The addition of Can-Tini aligns with High Basin Brands’ strategy of building a forward-looking portfolio that resonates with evolving consumer preferences.

High Basin Brands aims to create a next-generation portfolio of premium, purpose-driven spirits and is focused on organic production, sustainable practices, and cultural relevance.

High Basin Brands chief marketing officer Jordan Rothschild-Noomé said: “Can-Tini is everything we look for in a breakout brand: exceptional liquid, beautiful design, and the ability to stand out in a high-growth category.

“This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support of our growing investor community. We’re deeply grateful for their trust and belief in our vision.”
