International regulatory and policy consultancy EAS Strategic Advice will be on hand at Vitafoods Asia this year giving manufacturers regulatory guidance on how to successfully launch nutritional products across Asia.

Experts at EAS will offer visitors to the Vitafoods Asia expo on 4-5 September in Hong Kong free 20-minute one-on-one advice on the regulatory do's and don'ts in terms of product formulation, health claims, new foods or food supplement ingredients, labelling requirements and procedures for entering the different markets.

"Knowing how the different national regulations in markets across the region impact on multi-country marketing strategies is key to successful product launches," said Wai Mun Poon, regional regulatory affairs manager at EAS' Singapore office.

"Our advice sessions give companies the information they need to understand the interplay between these regulatory frameworks, so that they can make the most of the opportunities therein and avoid common obstacles market entry."
