
Wellness-focused technology company PlantX Life has announced a joint venture (JV) with supplement maker LIV3 to launch the SugarShield for weight loss.
This collaboration targets the growing $5.24bn global weight loss management supplement market.
Under the joint venture, PlantX Life will handle the branding and packaging design for SugarShield. The company will also create a user-friendly e-commerce platform for the product launch.
In addition, the wellness-focused technology company will lead all marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility.
As part of the agreement, net profits from sales will be equally shared with a 50/50 split.
The initial agreement term is one month for $50,000 and can be renewed.
LIV3 founder Christopher Mearns said: “With LIV3’s SugarShield, we believe that consumers can detox from the negative effects of fructose without changing their diet, the intended benefits being weight loss and improved metabolic conditions.
“We’ve already begun designing the branding and packaging with the PlantX team, and we’re very excited about the upcoming launch.”
LIV3 claims that SugarShield helps users boost energy, curb cravings, and simplify weight management without restrictive diets.
The product is based on a formula that offers health benefits like sugar-free diets while fitting into daily routines. It also reduces uric acid, a key contributor to cellular stress, potentially improving metabolic health.
The joint venture with PlantX Life will equip LIV3 with resources to build an online presence for SugarShield. PlantX’s branding and digital expertise will help the supplement connect with health-conscious consumers globally.
