Kraft Heinz’s cream cheese brand Philadelphia Cream Cheese has launched two new products in the US.
The launch includes the brand’s first frozen cheesecake and a cinnamon cream cheese frosting, as part of its seasonal product expansion.
The frozen cheesecake is available in Original and Strawberry Swirl flavours.
Developed over three years, it is made with Philadelphia Cream Cheese as the main ingredient and contains no artificial flavours or dyes.
Each cake features a graham cracker crust, while the Strawberry Swirl version includes hand-drizzled strawberry sauce.
Sold pre-sliced in a thaw-and-serve format, the product will remain a permanent part of the company’s portfolio.
The company has also released a Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting, following the introduction of its refrigerated frosting last year, which sold nearly one million units, the group said.
Made with milk and cream, the new flavour is designed for desserts such as carrot cake and cinnamon rolls.
It is the first in a series of planned seasonal frosting flavours the brand plans to launch.
Philadelphia Cream Cheese senior brand manager Kelli Srivastava said: “Dessert is a daily ritual for many, but not everyone has the time to create holiday classics like cheesecake and cream cheese frosting from scratch every time.
“After three years of development, our new Frozen Cheesecake offers an effortless way to serve a holiday favourite, while our Cinnamon Frosting brings a nostalgic flavour with its blend of warm cinnamon and brown sugar.
“With more convenient ways to enjoy our signature creaminess, these innovations make it easier than ever to create delicious moments with Philadelphia.”
According to company, both products are now available at select retailers across the US.
Earlier this month, Kraft Heinz’s frozen potato brand, Ore-Ida launched a new product called CrouTots in select US cities which started on 30 September.
The new item intended as a potato-based topping ingredient for salads.
It is available exclusively through Gopuff in cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and Pittsburgh, priced at $1.50 per bag while supplies last.
