Maeva has entered the metabolic wellness market with a product line aimed at people using Glucagon-like peptide (GLP-1) medications and those pursuing dietary weight-loss plans.

The direct-to-consumer brand said the range was developed to reflect nutritional needs that may arise during GLP-1 use, while remaining suitable for lifestyle-led weight-management routines.

The launch comes as prescriptions for GLP-1 drugs continue to grow in the US, where about 12% of adults – roughly 30 million people – are estimated to be taking the medications.

Maeva has worked with Ashley Koff RD, described as a nationally recognised weight-health expert and author of Your Best Shot: The Personalized System for Optimal Weight Health: GLP-1 Shot or Not, to support product development and educational materials for users.

Its offering includes separate nutrition shakes for men and women.

The men’s version contains 230 calories and 25g of plant protein, alongside creatine and KSM-66 ashwagandha.

The women’s shake provides 200 calories and 20g of plant protein, with collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid, iron and B-complex vitamins.

Alongside the shakes, Maeva is rolling out three “Targeted Boosters” – beauty, energy and gut health – as well as a five-calorie, zero-sugar probiotic electrolyte mix positioned for hydration and digestive support.

The company said it is supported by operators and founders with backgrounds in brand building, wellness retail and early-stage ventures, and that investors view it as a differentiated participant in the GLP-1 nutrition segment.

Financial details and investor identities were not disclosed.

Maeva is debuting with a subscription-first approach, including a starter kit, and was founded by executives from the consumer wellness and digital commerce sectors, including former leaders behind Sky Organics.

Maeva CEO Dean Neiger said: “GLP-1 medications have helped many people make meaningful progress in their weight-loss and health journeys, but maintaining proper nutrition is often overlooked. Maeva exists to support people through this journey with science-backed nutrition designed for reduced intake, without compromising strength, confidence, or long-term wellbeing.”
