US-based new skincare company Halo and Luna Cosmetics has launched a body care collection.
The new line features “superfood” ingredients combined with natural humectants such as mānuka and wildflower honey.
The products are developed to provide cleansing, exfoliating, moisturising and hydrating functions in single formulations.
According to the company, the strategy seeks to address demand for products that combine skincare results with sensory experiences.
Mānuka honey has been included for its moisture-retaining and antibacterial qualities, while wildflower honey contributes antioxidant compounds and fragrance elements.
Together, these components are intended to boost hydration and guard against environmental damage.
The company said it selected “superfood” ingredients for their nutritional value, which typically feature in dietary supplements but is now being applied to topical care.
The launch also includes textured packaging intended to engage touch, original fragrances designed to set the products apart from mass-market scents, and soap packaging printed with quotes aimed at encouraging daily positive routines.
In addition to the formulations, the brand claims to have developed packaging that provides a tactile experience.
The collection is directed at consumers across a broad age group, from 18 to 65.
Halo and Luna Cosmetics said the release marks its entry into the luxury skincare sector with products that integrate ingredient quality, sensory design and wellness-focused messaging.
In a separate development in February 2025, mānuka Health launched the Pro Vitality Daily Restorative Collection, a skincare line built around the use of New Zealand mānuka honey.
The collection includes a face serum, a face cream, and a hydrating hand cream.
The products combine mānuka honey with additional active ingredients, reflecting an approach that integrates natural sources with scientific formulation.
According to the company, the aim is to support skin barrier strength, hydration, and overall restoration.
In another development in October 2024, TopGum Industries introduced HoneyGum, a new line of all-natural, honey-based functional gummies.
HoneyGum is high-dose liquid honey that combined the benefits of liquid honey with advanced gummy technology.
