Brazilian ingredients producer Duas Rodas has rebranded as DR Flavors & Ingredients as it completes 100 years in business.

The transition to the new identity and the related development projects is being led by Leonardo Fausto Zipf, chairman of the board of directors, and CEO Rosemeri Francener.

Zipf said: “We are the result of the work of committed, visionary, and determined people.

“This company has always known how to reinvent itself while remaining true to its essence. Our focus is on the future, but the values that brought us here remain unwavering.”

The company, founded in Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina, has expanded over the decades to operate in eight countries.

Its manufacturing facilities are in Brazil (Santa Catarina, São Paulo and Sergipe), Mexico, Chile and Colombia.

Besides, it runs offices, technology centres and logistics structures in Germany, Poland, China and the US.

The company said that the change in corporate identity is intended to reinforce a strategy of “humanising” how it communicates and to place greater emphasis on the sensory and emotional connection that consumers have with food.

It positions the new branding as a continuation of its work in flavours, botanical extracts and ingredients for the food and beverage industry, rather than a shift in its core activities.

The company added that the rebrand is consistent with its stated purpose of “connecting people and brands through solutions that awaken the senses, generate value and inspire the future of food, responsibly.”

Rosemeri Francener added: “Reaching 100 years is a rare achievement. But more than that, it’s a responsibility.

“We honour our history by continuing to grow with focus, purpose, and passion for what we do. We are only at the beginning of a new cycle of achievements.”
