Since 1987, Naturkost Übelhör has stood for quality, reliability and competence when it comes to organic raw materials.
Naturkost Übelhör does not import any raw materials that can be produced, in sufficient quantities, by organic farmers in Germany. Its imports are limited to products that are not adequately regionally available, or cannot be grown there for climatic reasons. Since the foundation of the company, the number of employees has grown steadily.
There are currently 50 employees at the headquarters in Leutkirch/Allgäu, Germany, and 35 employees at the subsidiary Naturkost de México in Guadalajara. The company's organic assortment includes:
The chia seeds that come from the Latin American sage plant salvia hispanica (lamiaceae), contain a lot of essential omega-3 fatty acids. This mild and almost transparent oil has a great nutty flavour and is extruded from the black and white seeds of the salvia hispanica plant. It is cold-pressed and made of 100% organic chia seeds.
Sachia organic chia oil from Naturkost Übelhör is free from genetic modification, naturally vegan-suitable and gluten-free, and extruded in raw food quality from certified organic cultivation.
At the beginning of 2016, the company received approval for the production and sales of Sachia organic chia oil. This oil is available at Naturkost Übelhör and can be sold under your own brand name in accordance with the Novel Food Regulations.
