IGH Flavours & Technology will launch a new product range for sport nutrition at this year's Food ingredients Europe (Fi Europe). Visitors to its booth will be able to experience new flavours for proteins, branched-chain amino acid supplements (BCAAs) and instant drinks.
Choosing the correct flavour according to the final application is crucial; IGH's R&D team has created a new range of flavours for proteins that gives its own 'DNA' to your brand.
Addressing taste of BCAAs is another of IGH's goals; it has launched a specific range of flavours to mask bitter notes. A combination of flavours with a masking product is the key to this success.
The main IGH challenge for this year, however, has been the development of an instant drink. Its R&D team has created a beverage composed of flavour, sweeteners and vitamins. It's the first time that the company has made a final product that is ready for sale to consumer channels. At the moment, the available flavours are kiwi, natural lemon and 'energy'.
FlavoCoffee, the well-known three-in-one instant coffee premix, has a sweet and creamy taste that balances the bitterness of coffee with the harmony of cream and hints of pastry. It is available in conventional flavours, such as chocolate, hazelnut, and chocolate/hazelnut, as well as more unusual proposals including cheesecake, and lemon/cinnamon.
