The roots of SanaBio can be traced back to 2005, when general manager Wolfgang Schiller started dealing with vegetable and essential oils, with the intention to produce oils that are healthy and free of unwanted ingredients. Fast forward several years, and SanaBio was created in 2012 to bring everything to a whole new level.
Today, SanaBio specialises in processing, conditioning and importing vegetable raw materials, fats and essential oils for different industries.
The need to know what is in the goods that we buy and consume is increasing because a health-conscious lifestyle is becoming more important after being ignored for far too long. SanaBio therefore takes the aspect of quality very seriously, conducting analyses on its products at accredited third-party laboratories to ensure that what the customer receives contains what it should.
Another crucial aspect is the sustainability of the natural resources being used in the processes of production and distribution. The aim is to promote a zero-waste policy - by incorporating the by-products obtained from the production of oils into the portfolio - and to become a zero-footprint company by 2025. This way, SanaBio is not only promoting a health-conscious lifestyle, but is also directly contributing to the sustainability of the environment for future generations.
The production, storage and filling of vegetable oils take place in Germany, where there are more than 70 types of vegetable oils and 70 essential oils/extracts in the portfolio.
SanaBio is always looking to form partnership agreements with suppliers from all over the world, which offer organic, quality raw materials, like seeds, kernels, grains, essential oils, fats, butters and waxes, in order to develop a long-term partnerships that ensure a transparent supply chain with efficient traceability. All of this is because, at SanaBio, quality matters.
